Certificate of Approval – Volume

Our delivery trucks are all certified under the Weights and Measures Regulation 1999. Each firewood bin holds a certificate of approval for firewood volume measurement Issued by, The Ministry of Business Innovation & Employment, Wellington.

Custom Firewood Processing

Our firewood is a custom-made product and is processed 3 days prior to delivery (Monday to Friday). This allows us to ensure quality, consistency, and proper load preparation for every customer.

Cancellation Policy

We are unable to cancel orders without at least 4 working days’ notice prior to your scheduled delivery.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible within the required timeframe.
If your cancellation is received on time, your payment will be fully refunded to the original form of tender. Your account will be refunded in NZD. Credit/debit card transaction fees are non-refundable and cannot be amended, including in the event of order cancellation or changes.

Refund

We offer a refund for any unused firewood that we collect and measure using our certified volume bins. You will receive a refund based on the measured amount of our firewood collected. This policy is in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which ensures that products must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for purpose.

Important Conditions:

Our firewood must be placed in the same location where it was originally delivered.

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery, including clear details and supporting photos of the issue.

Refunds apply only to unused firewood.

What is not refundable:

Change of mind after custom firewood processing

Incorrect storage of firewood after delivery (e.g. left uncovered in rain)

Surface moisture due to weather, where firewood is otherwise properly seasoned

Poorly maintained firebox and flue
