Payment

We accept bank transfers, cash on delivery, and Visa card payments.

Transaction fees on credit or debit cards are non-refundable, even if you cancel or change your order.All payments by bank transfer or Visa must be cleared before delivery takes place.

Changes or Cancellations

We require at least four (4) days’ notice to change or cancel an order.

Our firewood is prepared in advance, so this time frame helps us reschedule deliveries. If we’ve already prepared or dispatched your order, it cannot be refunded.

Product Disclaimer

Firewood is a natural product. Logs may vary in size, and some may include bugs or insects. This does not affect burning quality.

Our firewood includes a mix of log sizes. Small pieces or breakages are normal.

Seasoning & Storage

We store firewood outside in open air so the core stays drier.

You may notice surface moisture — this dries quickly when stored properly.

Split Pine is a softwood and may need more drying time during winter.

Delivery

We deliver using tipping trucks.

You must ensure clear and safe access to the delivery site. This includes trimming overhanging trees, branches, or bushes.
If access is limited, the driver will decide the safest drop-off point.

If the small truck is unavailable, a larger one will be used. We do not offer compensation if the large truck can’t reach your preferred spot.

Our drivers will leave the firewood in a tidy pile for you to stack.

Order Configuration

Due to the stacking process, your order may be loaded differently than listed.

Example: An order of 2m³ Gum & 2m³ Split Pine ×2 may be loaded as 4m³ Gum & 4m³ Split Pine.

Wood Size Requests

Standard logs are about 32cm long and 20cm in diameter (based on an adult handspan).

We try to meet special requests (e.g. for Pyroclassic fires), but can’t guarantee exact sizes.

We do not split logs smaller than 20cm in diameter.

Spring Special

Our Spring Special includes partially seasoned wood, suitable to burn the following winter.

Offer is available from September to December only.

Delivery Timing

Delivery times are estimates only. Delays can occur due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or staff illness.
If we’re delayed, we’ll contact you to arrange a new time.

We do not offer compensation for delays.

Ownership & Late Payments

Wholesale Firewood Supplies retains ownership of goods until full payment is received.

Late payments may incur a 10% late fee, including any collection or recovery costs.

Measurements

All volumes follow standard New Zealand firewood measurement guidelines.
